The Good Nurse is 2022’s American crime-drama film written and written by Tobias Lindholm and written by Krysty Wilson-Cairns. It is basing the film on the 2013 book with the same title published by Charles Graeber. The film features Jessica Chastain, Eddie Redmayne, Nnamdi Asomugha, Kim Dickens as well as Noah Emmerich.
The Good Nurse has had its premiere in the world in The Toronto International Film Festival on September 11, 2022 and will be shown in select theaters in the United States on October 19 2022. It will be released for streaming release on the 26th of October at the time of Netflix.

Premise
Amy an empathetic nurse and single mother suffering with a heart condition that is life-threatening and is stretched to mental and physical limits due to the long and exhausting nights at the ICU. However, help is on the way when Charlie Cullen, a thoughtful and caring fellow nurse arrives at her unit. In the course of their long days in the hospital, they build a strong and loyal relationship, and for only the second time in many years, Amy truly has faith in her and her daughters the future. After a series of suspicious deaths of patients sets off an investigation that identifies Charlie as the primary suspect. Amy must put herself in danger and her children’s safety in order to find out the truth.

Production
The film was first announced in November 2016 and Tobias Lindholm set to direct and Krysty Wilson-Cairns composing the screenplay. Lionsgate was initially scheduled to release the film. In August of 2018, Jessica Chastain and Eddie Redmayne signed a contract to appear on the screen.
The development of the film was revealed up to February 20, 2020. Chastain and Redmayne were confirmed as the film’s stars and ad-librated, with Lionsgate not being involved. Netflix began negotiations to purchase the worldwide rights to the film for $25 million.
The film’s premiere was in March of 2021. Nnamdi Asomugha was added to the cast. Noah Emmerich and Kim Dickens joined in April.
The filming began the 12th of April, 2021 located in Stamford, Connecticut.
The first glimpse at the film was shown in its Netflix 2022 commercial that was released on 3 February 2022 that featured Eddie Redmayne and Jessica Chastain in a short video.
