Introduction

The safari takes place twice a day, in the morning and evening. The duration of the safari is two and a half hours. The timings of the safari vary from season to season as well. The timings during the summer season for the morning safari are from 5:45-8:15 am. The evening safari starts at 4:45 and goes on till 7:15 pm. In winter the morning’s schedule is shifted by half an hour and starts at 6:15 and ends at 8:45 am. The evening safari starts 30 minutes earlier than the summertime, so the timings are 4:15 to 6:45 pm.
Best time to visit –
The ideal time to visit the Jhalana safari park is in the winter that is from November till the month of April. This is considered the best time because the weather is perfect for doing the safari in the morning or evening. The safari is open throughout the year including monsoons when most of the places are shut.
How to reach –
To reach the safari you can either travel by road, rail or air.
If you plan on traveling by road then you can come by your private vehicle or any bus. The road to the park is well connected to different places so you can travel in your car from any city. If you are coming from a bus then the nearest bus stop is Narayan Singh Circle which is 10 km away.
If you are traveling by train then the nearest railway station is the Jaipur junction station. From there you can take a cab to the park because it is only 10 km away.
The nearest airport is the Jaipur airport and it is only 20 minutes away from the park. You will easily get a taxi or bus from the airport.
